Economics is the study of how goods and services in a society are allocated. Economists study the behavior of consumers and producers, and how they respond to changes in incentives.
A common concern of economists is whether or not a society has economic efficiency, that is: 1- “Are we producing enough goods and services for society?” and 2- “Are we doing it without wasting resources?”
This crash course is about how any given society can address those issues to become more economically efficient.
